OBIA 7.9.6.4 Installation


To download OBIA 7.9.6.4, log into oracle edelivery
https://edelivery.oracle.com
select the below option under Business Intelligence category
Oracle Business Intelligence 11g Media Pack for Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)
and download Oracle Business Intelligence Applications 7.9.6.4 for Microsoft Windows  -- V35873-01




Click on setup file and Run as Administrator


Click Next

 
 Select Oracle Home, Instance and domain locations from the OBIEE install folder.

 Enter weblogic user details.



Select components to install and click Next.

 
 
 Click Next




 
Installation process will restart the OBIEE services. This process might take time.

 Starting OPMN components.




 
OBIEE RPD, catalog, informatica repository and DAC code will be available in the biapps folder.

    Buddy,
    You described in detail the installation of OBIA 7.9.6.4. But before that we need to install OBIEE, Informatica and DAC. Can you please tell that steps as well?

      Upendra,
      Pr-requisites
      ->OBIEE should be installed, up and running.
      ->You need to have weblogic details(username/port) and OBIEE installation folder paths. Provide these details during 7.9.6.4 installation, as shown in screens 4 and 5
      ->Informatica and DAC are not mandatory for this installation.

      RCU installed for OBIEE is good for OBIA.
